Pushing Through

5 days. 5 days until I leave for New York. New York City, to be exact.

I'm excited and nervous!

I'm excited because I've ALWAYS wanted to go to NYC.

I'm excited because it's my first "in country" mission trip.

I'm excited because I love serving others.

Oh, and I'm excited because I don't have school :).

I'm nervous because I haven't been feeling my best recently (darned tiredness!).

I'm nervous because being in the "downtown" parts of the city scare me.

I'm nervous (or maybe sad) because I don't get to spend my spring break with my family, boyfriend, and friends in Cary (and I miss them).

But I'm SO excited to spend a week with great people from CCF and CSM and make great memories. And I know God is much bigger than my nervousness, twinge of sadness, or even my excitement.

So for the next 5 days I'm pushing through my school work, tests, work, and packing before climbing in a van and heading to NYC!
