High Five for Friday!

Ah, it's Friday again! Can I get a hallelujah?! There's nothing like the impending weekend to brighten your day...even after a rough week. Here are some things that made my difficult week better...

1. A sweet husband who makes me laugh when I'm sick. The inside of the add says: A bad day is all about perspective. That made me giggle, plus the fact that he went out on our porch and picked a flower off of our plant!

2. Living next to Urgent Care. I left work early Monday...basically right after I arrived...for an ongoing sickness that I thought I could conquer. Turns out, I couldn't. I've been feeling pretty bad since last Thursday (naseous, exhausted, clogged ears, dizzy, etc.). Sunday I literally did nothing at our apartment while Cal golfed, and Monday it got worse. Anyway thanks to my husband's excellent detective work, he found out or insurance is accepted at the Urgent Care right next door to our apartment. Which by the way, I literally just joined his health care like a week before. Thanks, body, for knowing right when to get sick to make me feel like an actual adult. I had I fill out forms and everything. It also marked the beginning when I will forever correct people on how to saw "Foshee" (for those of you who don't know, the "o" sounds like it does in "foe." Foe...shee. I will educate the world on this name before I die. Also on the name "Cal." No we are not super southern and actually saying "Kyle" drawn out.

3. Our porch-dominating plant. It was a sweet wedding gift from a dear friend, and it is still alive 2 months later!!! In fact, it's kind of taking over our porch. Having a green thumb is kind of fun! I'm trying to show Cal if I can take care of a plant, then I can definitely take care of a...dog. One day. :)

4. This coffee Cal made me this morning. A happy way to wake up for sure.

5. We have a date night tonight! This week it was my turn to plan. And lucky for us, it's a double date! The agenda is to go to a Wings place right by our apartment (his favorite kind of food!) and then go see Pacific Rim, a movie about monster "aliens" (foreign to this world) coming from the ocean, and so we humans create robots to fight them. At least, that's what I've gathered from commercials...

Hope you have a wonderful day and weekend!

Sure hope you are on the mend! And good luck with educating the world on how to say our name! I have been at it 23 years and so far not much luck. :-) Between the people that say Fahshee and the ones that say Foeshay like we are in France. And I have to spell both my names. But it is worth it!! I love our last name!! TGIF sweetie!!!
