Pinned...and Loved!
I'm pretty addicted to Pinterest, especially since the Droid now has an app for it! I have been draining my battery like crazy.
Anyway, I tend, like most people, to use it more for ideas rather than a "to-do" list of projects. It's pretty rare that I pin and then do/make whatever it is...but the past few days I've done what I pinned, and I am so excited to share! I know it's hard to tell, but the title of each recipe is also a link, so you can see the website it originated from!
1. Apple Cinnamon Water - I didn't love it after my first sip (it seemed bland to me), yet I kept drinking it and eventually fell in love! Who would've thunk - cinnamon in your water?!
2. No Bake Energy Bites - These are delicious little no bake cookies that are oh so filling! Not to mention healthy! The downside is they're not good for travel, as being refrigerated keeps them hard and looking like a ball!
3. "Laundry Today or Naked Tomorrow" sign - my finished product
4. I love this verse. And the background of the painting - can you tell that I used regular canvas, and just spray painted "Concrete" on?! The type of paint these days is crazy. But for the sake of my home I love it :)
So that's what I've been up to lately! This apartment feels very "in-between" in terms of my stages and living space in life, so I'm trying to decorate it to be homey, yet easy to move out of at the same time! Nothing that a cute blue curtain and several good-smelling candles can't take care of :) I'm looking forward to painting a table and chairs Cal and I got for a STEAL on Craig's List, and just dreaming about our future apartment in general!
And while this little fellow doesn't live with me, I sure do wish he does! This is Cal's roommate's (aka groomsman's) "son" Bentley. He'll get pretty giant, but he's very cuddly! A little too cuddly sometimes...but I love him and his regularly cocked head!
