Ending the Summer

Cal and I ended the summer off well - we attended an "Engagement Party" hosted by Belk at Crabtree, registered for about a thousand things, and just enjoyed each other's company! Boy do I love that boy! It's great to be engaged to your best friend. Oh, and by the way, those registering gun things are way harder to use than expected. So confusing!

For my original 3 year anniversary gift (ya know, before that whole engagement thing a week later...) Cal surprised me with tickets to see my absolute favorite artist, Brad Paisley! It was easily the best show either of us have ever seen. We had a fantastic time!! We even got out of the parking lot in great timing - until we came across some appointed people to direct cars - who were pretty much incompetent, and the police had to step in. Alas, we eventually got back to Raleigh, even though we did get a little lost!
