Resolutions

Every year I struggle to come up with a resolution - if I decide to come up with one at all. And if I do, it's a struggle to come up with rules and boundaries to keep that resolution.

So this year, as I'm trying to become a better runner (the best exercise option in my opinion), my resolution is to run 400 miles by December 31, 2012. While that's a daunting number, it's really not much when you break it down...especially since I'm training for a half marathon! It averages at about 7.7 miles a week. And since my boyfriend's twin sisters average between 30-50 miles a week, it's practically nothing. But it would be cool to succeed at that - and possibly even go over!
