One of Those Days

Today's just been one of those days. Bad hair day, bad work day, just a bad day. I'm hoping my mint chocolate chip ice cream will help me out later...after my 5 mile run that is :)

I'm struggling with my favorite verse this morning - Proverbs 31:25 - "she can laugh at the days to come." Yes, I'm excited for what lies ahead...for what's coming, but having patience for it? Not my thing today. Or most days, I suppose. Whether it is something in the near(ish) future (such as a week long beach trip this summer) or something far away (having my own classroom), I'm just very impatient!

Patience is not my strong point...in fact it's my very, very weak point, so today I'm leaning on God to get me through. I just need to keep the perspective that everything according to His desire will work out, so I don't need to stress or oversaw over it. One day at a time, right?

Oh yeah, and please keep Cal's Grandpa in your prayers/thoughts/whatever you do. He fell down and broke some ribs, so pray for quick and full healing!! Thanks!
