High Five for Friday

Happy Friday everyone! We've made it through another week and hopefully to a restful and fun weekend.

Here are 5 things that have made me happy this week!

1. One Thousand Gifts. I just love, love this book and all it's teaching me. The jist is to be thankful for the small things - notice and give thanks specifically for the things you love - you need to recognize God in order to live life fully. Can you find one thousand gifts that God has given you?

2. Asian chicken salad. We had a friend over for dinner and it was way better than I thought it would be! I'll share the recipe later on.

3. I have a love for white wine, but recently I'm starting to move towards red...I found this bottle at Total Wine and it was amazing! Plus, I just love the name...who wouldn't want to drink from the "Kitchen Sink" brand?

4. Hello, coffee! This creamer is beyond amazing. Only second to the actual cookie. Plus, it was on sale at Target, so I bought two but apparently left one in the bag at the checkout aisle...and was too tired to drive the mile back. I suppose I'll have to just really enjoy this one!

5.  My sweet husband and I on Father's Day! We had a great time celebrating with both families.

Now that we're working full-time jobs, I feel like we hardly see each other! Cal leaves around 6:30 for work, and so I see him 12 hours later when I get home from work. That being said, weekends have become like liquid gold to us - we love them! So, I'm going to start taking an "internet hiatus" from Friday nights - Sunday nights. Unless, of course, I need Google to answer one of my burning questions. Neither of us spend a lot of time on our computers, but there are so many "little moments" that I miss when I whip out my iPhone and start cruising Twitter or Instagram.

I will, of course, still be taking pictures to document our weekend adventures together...they'll just have to be "latergrams" :)

Have a great weekend!
