This weekend was tons of fun! Usually every weekend I have at LEAST one (maybe 2 or 5) thing(s) going on, and this week there was a bunch!
First, can I just say I LOVE being an Educational Adviser?! It's the coolest job ever. I get to hang out with people. For example, today I walked around and gave my group Halloween candy and chatted with them! So cool. So on Friday night a bunch of us went to the corn maze (Ken's Corn Maze to be exact) and it was a blast! We split up into teams, and went all around this 2 mile(!) corn maze to find all of the letters we had to hole punch on our cards. My group was SO confident in ourselves (it was me, Kerry, Lauren, Tara, Caroline, and Alison), and guess what place we came in. That's right, LAST. BUT - we were one of two teams (out of 4?) who found ALL of the letters! It took us an HOUR AND 40 MINUTES. That's a lot of walking around in the dark! But we had a blast.

This is me, showing off my height.
After that, Cal and I rushed to a 10:45 showing of Paranormal Activity 3....and it scared the poop out of me. All of them do. SCARYYY.
The next day, Cal came and took me to Bruegger's - our FAVORITEE breakfast place by far. IHOP comes in 2nd. But that's our favorite breakfast-for-dinner place. Fatties, I know. :)
We worked off our bagels by going....disc golfing!!! Cal's been teaching me, and I'm getting good. Just kidding, I still stink. A LOT! But that's ok...one day I'll improve...maybe..
Proof I'm not good: Cal had to retrieve my disc from a creek...
After that, Cal got a haircut by the one and only...me! Talented, I am. Then we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond so Cal could explore looking for new comforters. Apparently the prices were a surprise to him...sooo he's holding off for now.

Cal playing with a head massager. I can't take him shopping even when it's for HIM! Sigh!
We went on to have dinner at Tijuana Flats (which was DELISH) and then we went to the Campus Cinema to see The Help! It was my second time (his first) and I still LOVEDD it. Gah. I wish I could write like that (hence joining NaNoWriMo...any ideas?!).
My dorm was having a Dance Party in the lounge (another reason why I love being an EA) so we went and joined, and ate crumbs of pokey stix, and danced. Well, mostly not. I tried at least! Camirra, one of the girls in my hall, and some of her friends, completely wowed us by dancing to the Turbo shuffle. Go watch it - it's CRAZYY. Like Cupid shuffle on steroids! I kind of want to learn it though... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CZimVDJ6IQ (Notice how they are all black. This may be a requirement...) :)
The next day was an EARLY one! Cal and I went to the Panthers game in Charlotte (which is around a 3 hour drive), so we left at like 8am. Not before a stop for coffee and donuts though!! We ate at this cute little sports bar, headed to the game, sweat (a LOT), and watched the Panthers pull a win. They played against the Redskins, so I wore my Cowboys jersey, like a true fan. I got hooted and hollered at, and Cal told others he couldn't get a perfect girlfriend, but I was not offended. Go boys!
We then headed home and finally got to Cal's house around 8 where we ate dinner (THANK YOU AGAIN! We were starved). And then...the arguably most exciting part...we watched the All Blacks win their first world cup (right?) in 24 years in Rugby!!! So cool to watch history happen (even if it is on DVR).
Well, that was our weekend! Full, huh?!
