Friday Fails

I love doing high five for Friday posts, but I wanted to take a different twist on it today. So often we use social media to post only the good things that happen to us - we use it to frame our lives, making them look so perfect and wonderful. Of course - there are so many good things in our lives, and we should celebrate them together! But there are also bad things. Annoying things. Things that make our lives so not as perfect as it may seem. So here are some of mine from this week.

Not even all wedding pictures are perfect
1. I love our cats. Love em. But man, do they stink! If they're not using their litterbox, they are stinking up our apartment some other way.

2. Speaking of cats, Jessie had a tapeworm. Needless to say I didn't snuggle with her for a few days...thank goodness for her daddy's unconditional love.

3. Speaking of Jessie, now that the tapeworm is gone - she has gone crazy. What a wild little kitten! I swear I've used the spray bottle on her 20 times today - all for playing with the same blinds. Not to mention Cal has had to come out in the middle of the night to stop her from doing the same thing. Poor little blind kitty.

4. Yes. This is was my car's door handle (on the driver's side!). Somehow it's disconnected itself, and so I either have to climb through the passenger's side or attempt to open the door from the back seat. Not only is this inconvenient, but it is terribly awkward and embarrassing to cause such a scene every time I get in my car. That's a lot of times a day. I made the mistake of wearing a dress one day...never again until it gets fixed.

5. We went to the worst football game ever last Saturday. We had fun together, but seriously State?! I don't think Cal's ever seen me angrier! I'm still livid over it. Here's to hoping their game against Duke tomorrow won't have me hiding in a corner at Wallace Wade.

So there ya have it. Just in this week I found five embarrassing/sad/stinky things to happen at the Foshees'. Try to contain your laughter if you happen to drive past me attempting to get into my dang car...
