11 Months

We are only one month out from a year and I cannot believe it!!! We somehow missed writing an update for 10 months, and I attribute it to house hunting in a crazy market and prepping our house for sale. That's right...at the end of February we started looking at houses, and got our 5th offer accepted on March 17! We don't move until beginning of July, so we have some time. You have grown so much and are reminding me more and more of a toddler, even though you're holding on to some baby traits!

You have been scooting while sitting in circles. You can (sometimes intentionally) crawl/push yourself backwards and you usually go in a circle. You *just started* crawling forward a little, though you are very hesitant toward change and hard work 😅 More and more you're wanting to be put down to play/stand versus being held (though you still love mama snuggles).

You have 2 teeth on the bottom and 3(!!) came in on top ALL AT THE SAME TIME. That was not a fun week 😅 Teeth really disrupt your sleep, which is only okay at best. You still wake up to nurse around 4:15 in the morning, and are up to play any time between 6:15-7! Daddy still wakes with you most mornings (I let him sleep in on Sundays!). You still take 2 naps a day (usually 9:45ish-11ish and 2:15ish-3:30ish).

Your hair is wild. You love to be LOUD. You scream when you're angry or feeling silly! You love to shake your head no. You're getting better at not bursting into tears in front of strangers. You love a good swing and to people watch at playgrounds. Being outside is your JAM. 

You're not loving solid food (I'm not sure if it's a teething thing or what) unless it's sweet. Your faves are oatmeal, frozen banana in your teether thing, yogurt/applesauce, and yogurt melts. Oh, and veggie sticks!

You adore your brother. You say dadada and yayayaya and sometimes mamama.

We love you SO dang much. So does your brother, even though he's begrudgingly learning to share. His favorite thing to do is give you one yogurt melt and then give himself one! Can't wait to see your personality continue to grow, my big boy. I love you forever!
