8 Months

One thing I don't think I've mentioned about you so far, is that You have two stork bites! You have a little one on your chest, and you have a big one on the back of your neck which always makes me think you have a rash. It's adorable to think of the tale of that's how you came to us 🤣

Personality

I've said it before and I'll say it again, so far you are a big mama's boy! You are very attached to me and if you are feeling sad or grumpy all you want is mama!

You are a fast eater! Your average feed is 5-7 minutes on each side, sometimes if you're hungry enough you eat in 4 minutes! Your longest feed is our 4/5am since you're hungry+sleepy - but I stop you at 10/11 minutes per side so I can go back to sleep, too!

Stats

Solidly in size 5 diapers and 12 month clothing! We don't have a ton of winter 12 month clothing, but often you wear your fleece pajamas during the day since we go for walks in the cold!

Firsts

You met Nana and Papa (finally!). Nana had originally been scheduled to come see you when you were only 1 month old, so she was very eager to meet you and snuggle you. You loved their two little dogs, Austin and Cooper!

You had your first Christmas! Again, due to COVID, it was different than it would have been in "normal" life. But it was wonderful to celebrate with the Loomis side on Christmas Eve, the Foshee side Christmas day, and have time to drive around and look at lights that evening.

You started getting your first tooth this month! It's on the bottom and it required lots of extra holds and snuggles and doses of Tylenol so you would sleep! It did help you become all of a sudden into food. You eat banana, peanut puffs, and teething crackers now.
