6 Months

What a fun month! We had lots of time with your Uncle Sam before he headed back to California. I still can't get over how big you are getting! It surprises me every day.

Personality

You really claw away at breastfeeding giving me lots of scratches 😬

You still really hate tummy time, we work hard to help with rolling and your overall strength! We have to do it right away after a nap otherwise you get too tired and mad to do it for long.

You are LOVING bath time! Daddy gives you one almost every night while I get some alone time with Jericho. You splish and splash until there's water everywhere!

One of my favorite moments with you is right before nap. I nurse you in the quiet nursery, and as I bring you up to burp you, you snuggle your face into my neck and doze while I breathe in your beautiful, baby scent. It makes it very challenging to put you down!!

You giggle like crazy when you're tired and it's the sweetest thing! You also break into a HUGE SMILE when you see Mama, Daddy, or big brother! You also love to coo and say dadada and nanana and sticking your tongue out in between!

Firsts

You survived your first presidential election! It was a doozy. Finding out who the president elect is took 4 days!! Thankfully it appears to be Biden who won, over Trump (that's a wholeeee other story!).

You rolled for the first time just 2 weeks ago! You had made no previous attempt to go from your stomach to your back and daddy worked so hard with you in getting you to practice. I had been watching TV and daddy laid you on your stomach so he could run upstairs. A minute later I glanced down and you were on your back (the ottoman blocked most of you from my sight)! Then you immediately rolled again once placed on your tummy. We were SO excited!

You had your first Halloween! With COVID it looked a lot different (not that it matters for a little baby!) so there was no trick or treating. Instead, you, Jericho, and Daddy came to a drive-thriugh Trunk or Treat that I helped lead at Crosspointe. You were a baby pumpkin and I got to ride along with you boys!
