Summer Craziness
It's amazing how as soon as I get home to where my parents live, all of my deep thoughts go straight out of my head ;) Either that, or I'm just too busy to think about them!!
Today marks 2 months since becoming engaged, otherwise known as 40 weeks and 6 days or 286 days until the wedding. So close but so far away!! It's amazing how fast the time has gone by. Granted, we've been working full time, we booked the church & reception venue, our (favorite ever) pastor, got the dress, and received our engagement pictures! Now we're working on the wedding website and figuring out how many (super awesome) save the date magnets we need. Trust me, they're pretty cute.
This week will be my last week at SAS camp - until next year hopefully! I'm actually really sad about it. I'm thrilled to move into my apartment with some amazing girls next Saturday, but I think Friday I may actually cry. I've bonded so strongly not only to the other counselors, but to my babies, too!! I don't know how my days will be as interesting as they were this summer. I think it really has been the best two months of my life!
However, I am so ready and absolutely thrilled to get this next year started. I will hopefully be nannying, as well as working with the Chancellor hosting guests at Football/Basketball games, going to school and teaching my first students, and...planning the rest of our wedding! It's definitely going to be an exciting year, both slow and fast at the same time. I suppose in the end I would rather it tick by so that once Cal and I get married time doesn't slip away from us!! I just love him so much, and I cannot wait to see where life takes us...even if his car continues to break down every few days ;)
